Meet Samantha

Hi! My name is Sammie and I'm a Hudson Valley based photographer. Nature and the landscape around me has always influenced the way I view the world and how I create.

There is beauty all around us. Even within a day's simplest moments, there is something worth capturing in a photograph. Nature inspired me to start out photographing the landscape, and eventually it brought me to focus on families, children and couples. Having my own kids allowed for a whole new perspective of looking at what photography means to me.

I graduated from Marist College with a BS in Digital Media and Minor in Photography. I have worked on jewelry, landscapes, single portraits, families and couples. In addition to this, I've spent many years working on digitizing a film photography archive.
